ASSIGNMENT GUIDANCE
Please download and read the Direct Access Course Assignment Guidelines carefully first, before reading the other two documents. The All-Years Assignment Guidelines document will have information not relevant to you but we make it accessible to be aware of future requirements.
Please read the Direct Access Assignment Guidelines first for guidance on planning your course.
The All Years Assignment Guidelines give further information about formatting and submission.
TURNITIN
All students are required to submit their assignments through Turnitin. An originality checking and plagiarism prevention service that checks your writing for citation mistakes or inappropriate copying. When you submit your paper, Turnitin compares it to text in its massive database of student work, websites, books, articles, etc.
Please follow the advice and guidelines on the Turnitin page.
Plagiarism is an academic offence. If a student is suspected of plagiarism, they will be expected to appear before the academic misconduct board. WATCH THESE VIDEOS.
Turnitin cannot accept student submissions until the assignment start date which is one month before the deadline.
You may resubmit as many times as you wish leading up to the deadline.
Missed Deadlines (see below).
Marks are released on the ‘post date’ found by each assignment on Turnitin. This is usually 1 month after the deadline.
FRONT COVER
SHEET
Please ensure to use the Front Cover Sheet on the front of all written assignments that are submitted to Turnitin. It is important to have this sheet included for proper identification and organisation of your work.
You have the option to copy and paste it onto the front of your assignment, or alternatively, you can download it and use the document as a starting point for your assignments.
NEURODIVERSity ASSESSMENT
