I have always been fascinated with plants, and how such an incredible and powerful thing can grow from something as tiny as a seed. Growing up on a small farm, I developed my love for nature and found the wonder of planting and picking my own food. I want to share my experience of how herbs and natural nutrition can enhance our health and well-being.

Herbalism combines many of my values and passions: community connection, equity and social justice, and a love of the natural world. The history and traditional systems of medicine and energetics fascinate me too. I'm excited to be going into such a rich, valuable and interesting profession, both for myself and for my community.

I am passionate about sustainability of herbal medicine, its relatively low level on the land and the resources. I love the plant magic, its ability to heal and connect. It's a real privilege to be able to help people this way, something I have wanted to be doing since forever!

I've always felt a deep connection to the natural world, it started with a love of animals and has led to a passion for plants! I am a mum, I run a guesthouse and am an Ayurvedic consultant and holistic therapist. I'm studying herbal medicine so that I can better help people to heal themselves, with nature's help.

I come from a background looking at the relationship between people and plants in the past, in a very theoretical way. I want to explore that relationship today, with real people and real plants!
