GENERAL INFORMATION

A minimum of 1 PAT meeting every trimester, with an additional introductory meeting during the first year Induction/ Welcome Week. A total of 6 potential meetings are available in an ordinary year of study: July and August being the summer break. However, students retaking exams may require one of these to be arranged at the discretion of the PAT after the July resits.

Depending on your student, and yourself you may have a particular way you would like to conduct the meetings, e.g. by landline as you have no mobile signal in your house. Or via Skype or Zoom because you have a good Wi-Fi signal but no mobile etc.

A student needs to give 48 hours for rescheduling/cancellation of meetings, or they may lose one of their slots.
If they do not turn up to a session, you may reschedule (within reason, if this is what you wish to do) or invoice for the slot. If you wish to invoice, fill in a google form and tick the box ‘did not attend’.
Please advise the student that a meeting no-show will use up one of their 6 sessions.

Your students may contact you outside of the development meeting via email. If it is something urgent then please pass it on to the Head of PATS.
If it is not urgent you can reply that you will discuss that point at their next development meeting.
